It was our sincere hope that in rescheduling to November that we would be able to host you in person at the 2020 Southcoast Health Aquidneck 10k.
We have spent the past six months creating a plan that would be in-line with COVID-19 safety protocols and we submitted that to the Town of Middletown. Unfortunately the Town Council denied our request to move ahead out of an abundance of caution. We fully understand and respect their decision as the safety of our runners, volunteers, staff and our community are paramount in these difficult times.
While we share in your disappointment, we want to provide the best experience possible under the circumstances and will be converting this years race to a Virtual Race for all registrants.
What is a Virtual Run?
All registrants will be assigned a bib number on Friday, November 13th. You can then run a 10k route of your choosing between November 13th and December 14th and submit your time HERE to be added to the official 2020 results.
We will be hosting an optional in-person bib pickup for those registrants wishing to pick up their shirt, bib, sticker and medal on event weekend. For those not wishing to attend, we will mail out all remaining swag in the weeks following the event.
ALL registrants can attend one of two bib-pick up sessions of event weekend, OR we will mail your bib, shirt, sticker and medal in the weeks following the event. (Please email us if your mailing address is different than the one you used to register with on Eventbrite)
Run a 10k, Submit your Time
Plan your own 10k route, or run the Aquidneck 10k course at a time of your choosing between November 13 and December 1st and submit your time to be added to the official 2020 race results.
